Does the manufacture limit on a schematic (let's say it is 1000) mean that I can only ever make 1000 items with that schematic?

I see, well that might explainwhy myschematics keep mysteriously vanishing from my factories! 
Is there a way to tell how much of a schematic is left? Is it written somewhere on the schematic?

Yes, if you examine the schem in your datapad it shows how many "uses" it has left

The limit used to be 100. Imagine that? People used to manually type in 1000, but it caused some nasty factory bugs...
