Thread: Powerups and the CURB

I know it's too early for any real answers but I was just wondering if there's any idea how the CURB will affect powerups. Considering there are only a few combinations that are actually useful now, I wonder what will be useful after the CURB.
Also, if some of the stats are removed will existing powerups be converted to something valid as they're proposing to do with meds. Just a couple thoughts for the sandbox crew.

I asked this same question in the thread where the developers made the original CU post. I didn't see any answer there.
Since powerups are a money maker and continuing income for so many artisans I'd like Guruweaver to get this question elevated to the devs.

Not knowing much about the CURB, i'm still betting the Max Damage and Attack Speed powerups will still be in high demand. From what I've heard, the CURB is going to make high level mobs even more difficult and armor won'thave the uber stats it has now, so combatants will want to have every advantage they can, including the best powerups.

MY concern is if they will exist at all. Or, if they do, if the amount they increase stats will be modified. The 33% boost is very useful. A 10% boost would only be nice. That could mean a change in the economics of powerups. If we could get some idea of the direction things are going we could make plans to deal with it.
