Thread: Fastest XP?
It really depends. I find complexity has very little to do with how much XP an item gives.
There is really a tradeoff. Lets look at melee weapons after engineering 4. Some people say make lots of wood staffs, as you can churn these out super-quickly. They give about 25 xp each. I use heavy axes. Though they take longer for the crafting tool to make, and they take more recources, they give 80 xp each. They also take alot more recourses.
Newer items can give good xp, but not always. A bone armour chest plate will give more than a muzzle. But a dagger may not.
My favorite things are: Use whatever you can make to get engineering 1, 2, 3. After three reinforced combat staffs take alot of recourses, but give 80 xp each. (That's another example-the axe is newer than the staff, but they give the same xp. The axe just takes fewer recources). After engineering 4 I would suggest axes. Bone armour gives excellent xp, but it is so hard/expensive to get the bone and hide I tend not to use it.
