I bet this isn't the problem, but is there something in your crafting tools'hopper?

Zuurauk,

Thanks for your response because I was getting really frustrated. What do you with mean crafting tool's hopper ? The systemgives the messagethat there is one in the hopper but that it cannot put it because my inventory or datapad is full. Can I release the hopper of a crafting tool by myself ?

Well, if your inventory once was full when you crafted, the item will be in the tools output hopper instead of in your inventory (which means you won't loose any items that way )

If you bring up the radial menu of the tool(s), hold on 'start crafting' and you should get another option, 'empty hopper' or something like that.

There is also a problem, occasionally, with the database getting "confused" and thinking that your inventory is full, even when it isn't. The only way I've found to cure that is to log out, wait about five minutes, and log back in. I got stuck that way a few days ago when I was buying a ticket at the starport. "Bought" the ticket, and didn't really read the message window, just clicked OK and went out to the landing pad. Had to wait 8 min for the space shuttle, and then was told I didn't have a ticket. Figured I had just clicked on the wrong button or something, and went back to argue with the ticket machine. Then I realized it was telling me that my inventory was full, so I couldn't buy a ticket. Except that my inventory only had 30 items in it, so it wasn't full. Logged out, waited a few minutes, logged back in, and then was able to buy a ticket.

Sounds like c++ and pointer problems in the database. Which means that the new patch will make things worse.

Don't let the negative AFKophobes get you down. Play the game however you want.

Ladygrey,

No this time your advise didn't help, unlike previous ones

TheMalle,

Indeed you can empty the hopper my holding click on the tools. I didn't know this is possible, rather I thought it was a bug.

Thanks all,

Oh, well, that's OK. Eventually the other bug will happen to you, and then the advise will not be wasted. **sigh**
