has it crossed any ones mind that there is two seats in the landspeeder. wouldnt it be cool to be able to give people permission to get into the other seat. then have the other guy be able to shoot out the back. i dont think it would be that hard to create either. whos with me?!?!?

Wow two seats, never occurred to me. I thought mine was to fit a 'wide load'.

I was going to reply to this with something really sarcastic, but as I re-read it my mind became numb.... so I'll just give a straight answer:

Of course it crossed our minds. It crossed our minds on the first day that speeders came out on test center, and a lot of us don't even play on TC. Are you telling me that it took this long for it to cross YOUR mind? (rolls eyes expressively)

I remember the devs talking about wanting to do this. I believe that the hang-up is technical. Making sure that the toons stay together even with server lag. It'd look pretty stupid to see Joe on his speeder bike with Larry flying 15 meters behind him.

Even better, I'm cruising in my X-34 and My buddy Joe Blow is ridding Shotgung, but his connection is lagged..... Just picture it. The speeder andI are fine but Joe is floating arround 15M back hosing everything in site with his laser carbine. Heck, I'd love to see that !

I am all for it too. To go one step further, shouldn't we be able to have our R2 and Protocol droids ride on the jet engine mounts like in ANH?
