The same things are asked almost every freakin day.

Q. Help, Can't Seem To Unload My Crafted Item

A. You didn't have space in your inventory when the prototype was complete. Need to make space in your inventory for it, then once that is done, go into the crafting tool, use the radila menu and move the mouse to use. There will be a secondary box pop up from there that says something about unloading the hopper. [Eege]

Q. Powerups?
A. Read http://swg.allakhazam.com/db/guides.html?guide=119

Q. I want to grind, what should I craft for xp?
A. Everything gives you 2xp per resource used. So, either craft the thing that takes to most resources (bone armor) OR craft the thing that uses only the most of only one resource, the idea being less clicks == faster.

Q. Why don't deeds give GXP
A. Cause they don't, shut up and play the game. OR Cause they, like all architech schematics, give too much xp. Notice how the architech tree is balanced for this, the Artisan tree is not. Pretty smart of the dev's, huh?

Q. bla bla is broke.
A. Go read the in testing page to see if something is fixed on test before complaining about it.

Q. Why can't I experiment
A. Are you using a specialzed crafting tool?, are you near a public or private crafting station?

You forgot 'why can't I place my harvester, it tells me you can't build here or you can't place a structure in your current condition'

If you get the message 'cannot place a structure in your current condition', it's some weird type of bug that thinks you're still running for a few seconds after you stop. Wait motionless a few seconds, then try again.

If you get the message 'you cannot build here' it means you're too close to a city. Move a bit further away. No there is no way to tell exactly when you're out of the no-build zone, just move a little and try to build again.

Q: Why does my harvester say I only have 1 day of power? I know I put 60 hours in there:

A: The power readout on harvesters uses 60 hr increments for units. So if it reads 1:20 that means you have (1) 60 hrs + 20 hrs = 80 hrs.

Q. What is the best race for Artisan?
A. Any, It depends on what you want to do. No one is just an Artisan, they are also a TKA or an Entertainer, or harvester using Artisan, or a AFK macro using grinder. It depends. Races have slighty different min and max statistics but a fairly close. They all have benifits.

Q. What elite profession?
A. **edit**, can't you decide anything for yourself. Do what is fun, not what you think is get-rich quick profession. "Enjoy the game *today* cause you will be nerfed tommorrow"

Q. Will vehicles be craftable?
A. No one knows, move along.

Q. What the heck is that new creature container thing for?
Q. What purpose Creature Habitats?
A. [Zarcath] You can search Creature Lairs for Samples of Live creatures. Lairs are not "One Chance" searches. You can search the same lair multiple times, after searching it, it takes about 5 minutes for it to reset and allow you the option to search it again. There is a chance you will not find anything on a search attempt but that does not mean it's "empty" forever. The next attempt should result in something.

Q. Nemodian Birdcage?
A. Nothing, or no one knows, or the same thing "Potted Plant, Style One" does.(It's furniture)

Q. Is x a fair price.
A. Yes.

The best race for artisan is human because you get +15 to artisan experiemtnation giving you that 1 extra point.

Q: Do the optional components in a crafting station make it better?

A: Yes. I crafted two stations, one using all the possible optional components (well experiemented) and one without. Both were made using high-quality copper and came out around 90% effectiveness.

However, the one with the optional components had a effectiveness rating of 27, while the "plain" one had a rating of 11.

---

Q: Does this translate into actual benefits?

A: Early tests indicate yes. For example, I made a number of master-level artisan items (GP Mods, Control Units, and Sensor Suites), first in a station of effectiveness 11, then again in one at 28. I used the exact same resources each time, and threw out any that didn't experiment up with a "great success" every time.

On average, the items made in the new station were1% higher to start, and 3-10% higher in effectiveness once the experimentation was done. More testing will need to be done, but these results are encouraging.
