I am curious for people who have played multiple types of tradeskills which they found the most satisfying. I am at the point where I want to choose a general path. I initially was interested in architecture but from reading that board it seems the skill is kinda hosed by undercutters etc. But then it seems from the boards that noone is particularly happy with their skill. I admit I am less into people interactions as personal accomplishments so I am looking for a tradeskill that emphasizes the creation not the sale but still gives decent enough pay to make viable. Thanks!

Well, the armorcrafters and weaponsmiths seem happy in my guild. I can't seem to be able to talk anyone else into doing DE with me, and I'm very unhappy with DE. So if you're going to stay a crafter class, try armor or weapon, DE definitely needs some help, and I've no real knowledge on the status of things for architects.

Any of them will do that. There will always be "undercutters" like you say about architects, it's called business. Get Merchant for sure, so you can get a waypoint on the planetary map and better vendors, but it doesn't really matter which other elite crafting profession you go for, they can all be used to "emphasize creation, not the sale, but still give decent enough pay to be viable."
