Thread: This vendor has not been initialized
Ugh. After the patch, none of my vendors are accesible. When anyone (including me) double-clicks them, an error message pops up saying "This vendor has not been initialized." Well, they ARE initialized...one of them is registered on the planetary map, I can toggle ad barking on and off...I just can't get to the items that are on them.
Obviously, I would just remove all of the inventory and destroy the vendor, then create a new one...but I can't get to the inventory. Each vendor has around 50 items on them, a lot of which are Master Tailor-level clothing - so I'm not all warm and fuzzy about destroying the vendors and the hundreds of thousands of credits worth of items on them.
Anyone else? Or am I just special?
BTW, the "Initialize Vendor" item in the radial menu is not available for any of the vendors in question.
Same thing with mine and every vendor i have tried in the shops around me. Also, now i cant drop anything in my house because it appears what is in my vendor is being counted against the number of items my house can have. that is the items in the vendor that i cannot access are counting against me. who says SOE doesn't have a sense of humor.
xerrex
I'm pretty sure that they broke the item limit on houses, and that's the cause of the vendor issues. I have a friend who just built a house, and has almost nothing in it, a couple of pieces of furniture... no vendors ... and she can't drop anything. So basically, an empty house has "too many items" in it.
Niiice...once again, I have to wonder ifhaving atest server is really useful at all, since things like this happen whenever there's a patch. What are they testing over there anyway?
Same problem here. I wonder how many are experiencing this and could it be linked to the 3K price limit bug that was mentioned in the patch notes?
Well, at least the patch didn't blow up my harvesters or something like it... which was what I feared ![]()
