I'm pretty much new here so I'm still learning. Don't flame me if this question is a little stupid.
I understand how the quality ratings work when you craft, but how high should the quality rating of a metal/chem ect. be before it is considered good?
Obviously something like 100 is very bad. But would a 700 rating be worth anything or must they be like 900+ to be worthwhile in the late game?

900+, unfortunately.
I think there are way too many 900+ resources. In my opinion, they should be hard to locate. Right now, most people don't even bother with anything under the 800'ish-900'ish range, because anything less is considered grinding material.
The market for items would be a lot more interesting if 900+ resources were actually considered not to be the norm. There would a different level of quality/supply/demand if those types of resources were somewhat rare.
