Thread: Question about wheat.

I'm starting to experiment with harvesting and don't really know what to do. I want to make wheat. Is this what I do?
Use a flora survey tool to locate wheat.
Build a flora harvester there.
Add water, energy and water to the harvester.
Is this right?

I believe it is just like any other harverster you only need power and credits. I have only done one flora harvester and I do not remember needing to add water.

All you add is energy and maintenance (money, which flows like water most times)
The only energy you can uses are:
Wind (sold in liquid form?)
Solar (sold in liquid form?)
Radioactive (sold in solid form)
Petrochemicals are under the energy headings, but cannot be used in harvestors
Personal harvestors have about a 2 Basic extraction rate
Medium harvestors have about a 5 Basic extraction rate
Large harvestors have about a 10 Basic extraction rate
A good architect can get a medium harv up to a 10 BER with the right materials. If you have a medium harv and a large harv that both have Basic Extraction Rate of 10, the Medium is more cost effective to run than the large.
