All right ladies and gents I created a cost calculator in Excel and I think it works pretty well but I would like a ccouple of you people to test it. The only problem is I have no way to get it to you. So if you have a place for me to post it let me know or if you want me to email it to you I can do that too. I would like about 5 to 10 people to try it befroe I give it to everyone. The one on SWG Craft dosent work right but I think mone does..

Thanks

Well, if yours is in excel format email it to me please. I dont mind using your ideas to make mine better. Also JTS, I emailed mine to you so you can test it out. Tell me what you think. I am into the KISS (keep it simple silly) when it comes to gaming.

Hey, i got areound to looking at your file, and i understand what you are going for.

I seriously urge you to download this utility HERE. (right click, save as)

It is called "Lot Management 2.1"

The version i linked to is the 10-lot version, but there are other versions if you go the the main website HERE. (clicky link)

I know you said you want to "Keep it simple" but this excel sheet is a godsend, and does EXACTLY what you are looking for, plus has some nice bonuses such as a page that tells you what priority your harvesters require servicing in.

The learning curve is next to nothing on it, and personally, i only use 3 tabs of it "Maintenance", "Lot Info", and "Report"
(I will E-mail you my current setup, so you can see what it looks like actually being used)

The short and dirty setup is:

1. go to tab "Owners" and enter your character name in a field.
2. go to tab "Lot info" and enter in the Hopper sizes and types of harvesters.
3. go to tab "Maintenance". (This tab you will be using most often, as the other tab information doesnt change much.)
---- 3a. enter in your hoppers current Maintenance ("Maint pool") and Power ("Energy Reserves").
---- 3b. enter in the last time you emptied the hopper ("Last Visit").
---- 3c. enter in the Concentration ("%").
---- 3d. enter in the names of what you are pulling up ("Description / Resource").
4. go to tab "Report". (This tab tells you when you need to visit your harvesters, and in what order they will stop functioning normally.)

And you are done!

Seriously, you really want to use this tool, its a godsend to anyone that harvests on a regular basis.
