Thread: Site that tracks resources?

I'm a newbie to large-scale resource harvesting, and I'm wondering if such a site exists and where. I tried www.swgresources.com but it doesn't seem very frequently updated.

www.swgcraft.com is your friend. Bookmark swgcraft. Update swgcraft. Love swgcraft...
Seriously, check it out. It's updated by players, so there is some lag between a resource spawning and getting added to the site. But for popular resources (radioactive, the various named resource requirements for weaponsmith, Dantooine berries) the lag is pretty short.

www.swgcraft.com is ok, it just doesn't tell you where the resources are exactly. I still can't find what damn planet Eleton Reactive Gas is on

It does tell you what planet it's on. It just doesn't tell you where on the planet it is.

If you want a site that has resource locations use : www.swg-iss.com
It is powered by swgcraft, and allows surveyors a place to sell resource location information.
It's (version 2)still in testing but is mostly operational.

A particular resource can spawn only one or more than one planet at a time. You need to do a little work for yourself and visit each page on the site for each planet to see if the resource you are looking for has spawned someone within the galaxy. Rare resources may not even be listed as they only spawn sporadically.

Yeah it does, you click on the "all planets" tab instead of doing each individual planet. Yeah the web site may not show a resource the instant it appears, but it usually has it by the end of the day.
