Thread: Shellfish Harvesting Tool Macro

Is anyone aware of a macro I can build that would allow me to harvest mollusks with the Shellfish Harvesting Tool? The way it works is different then the other survey devices. This tool actually does the sampling, so /sample; won't work. I need a code that will actually use this tool. I know there is a way to do it, I just need some guidance from above.

I know this has probaly been asked but where do you get the shellfish harvesting tool, and who uses the the resources that can be sampled with it.

You just need to click on the tool to use it so place it in any toolbarSlot and just click it. Estimate time you use to get the result of your harvest and insert a pause then reclick... simple enough.
Bio Engineer use the mollusk and crustacean meat you can get from this. To be honest, to make any shematics with that kind of ressources (milk, eggs, fish, mollusk) the BE need tons of ressource of the same name so it will be hard to sell them at high prices.

You can do a 'quest' for the schematic, which involves killing a Bounty Hunter and delivering something. Starts with the guy under the bridge in Anchorhead.

As Ismelda said, put it in a toolbar slot and action the slot. Mine is :
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause 8;
It actions slot 00 (F1) 3 times, then pauses and actions slot 01 (F2) where the macro resides.
Note also that the molluscks and crustaceans will NOT stack, so you will need a fairly empty inventory and you will have to sit there and manually stack the 2 types of shellfish.
Edit: If you're prepared to sit in 1 place for hours, you can harvest around 800 units per hour, including misses, with an 8 second pause in the macro. Get buffs or a bunch of stims first.
