Okay, so I'm working on becoming a Novice Armorsmith. I'm currently Artisan 4-4-4-4. I'm getting a little tired of running missions to pay for my resources, which is what I did all through Artisan. Thus, I decided to build myself a couple of Personal Mineral Harvesters to harvest some Steel. I figured I'd be able to sell some of the resources to pay for maitainence and use the rest to grind up to Novice Armorsmith.

I wanted a pretty high quality harvester, so I spent about 3 hours surveying for resources of sufficient quality to do so. Thankfully, I managed to round up some VERY nice resources all on Tatooine. None of the quantities were over 50%, but that's okay and wasn't too painful due to my precious +100 in surveying. It was hard work, mind you, but doable. After gathering enough resources for one harvester, I decided to craft it and hope it wouldn't crit fail. My swoop had disappeared in the mean time, so I plopped down a camp to call my swoop out. Erm.. Have you ever noticed that "destroy" is RIGHT next to "generate vehicle". It was too late. I just flushed 28k credits down the drain just because I accidentally pressed the wrong button. It especially irked me too because it was the FIRST thing I ever bought since I resubscribed, and I payed for it by running 36 survey missions on foot.

I then realized what the /mood command was for. I promptly typed /mood angry.

I pulled out my spedder and slowly trodded home, hoping for a nice harvester to possibly ease my pain a little. I get there, try to craft, and realize I needed 10 more of a certain very rare ore to craft it. Angrily, I plodded out into the desert to try to find it again. Thankfully, there was a nice pocket just outside town. I returned back to the crafting station and crafted my mineral harvester. It wasn't a crit fail, and to top it off, it had 27 base efficiency! I was pretty happy.. until.. it skipped to crafting step 6, where you create it. It didn't let me experiment. In horror I realized that I was standing next to the general item crafting station instead of the structure one.

I then proceeded to cuss everything out. Man, I was mad. /mood disgruntled

I went back out into the desert with the crappy quantities and got all the needed resources again. I went back to town, crafted the item, experimented its effectiveness to 97% or so, which I was highly happy about. To my absolute horror, I realized I had crafted the WRONG harvester. I had accidentally selected the Personal Chemical Harvester to craft instead of the mineral one. I was so pissed I destroyed it. All I could do at this point was /cry, /flail, then run around Anchorhead laughing maniacally like a madman.

I then decided to log off the rest of the night lest anything else go to hell on me.
