Here's how to make a fortune as a master artisan...

Drop artisan and become a weaponsmith or armorsmith.

If you don't care about money, and like being able to supply parts for other people to make a fortune off of, be an artisan.

example:

An armorsmith asks me to make him a large order of2 different parts he needs to mass produce imperial shield generators. I figure up a price based on about 6 CPU and charge him 130 and 145 cr for the two parts. He complaines at the "huge" cost of this large order of parts (several hundred thousand for the full order)

I find out later that he makes 30k of EACH shield gen!

Artisan is a thank less job. Get the skill if you want to combine it with another profession like architect so you can make your own components.

My wookiee friend is partly right (almost any of the elite crafting professions will earn more once they reach master), but Master Artisan can still eek out a comfortable living. Repair kits for armor, weapons and clothing sell very well, if you experiment them to 99.9999%. I have sold more than 1 million credits worth in a day...

Architect, weaponsmith, armorsmith etc will all earn you alot of money, but they have a high cost involved in leveling to master.. earn some money as an artisan first, and then you can afford to level to one of the elite professions.

FYI, I dont know if I am rich, but I have 15 million in my account... more than enough for me to live, play and work on my server without wanting or needing anything.
