Okay I did a search on this but it was all horked up, so if this has been stated before I aplogize (although if I did find it and post, the thread probably would have been locked for necro posting...sometimes you just can't win): I have two accounts, one is a Master Artisan/Master DE the other is combat. I noticed that my swoopbikes decayed rather quickly, so I decided to remake them with better materials. I made 2 of them using the exact same resources.
I typically use my craftermore, but lately had been getting burned out so I switched to me combat monster. After using my combat monster for a few days I realized that I hadn't repaired my swoop in a long time and it wasn't even smoking yet. When I checked it I realized it had 40k health, but the other one I made at exactly the same time with the exact same materials only had 2.6k. Anyone have any luck figuring out what is up with this bug?

I craft my own bikes which are 95% as I use 1000 SR steel, and 800 SR copper. Well, this never happened before and this was my first time it ever happened. Last night I went out on a mission and just before going - I spent like 5k to repair it.
Used the bikemaybe 10 -BOOM - disabled!!!
Oh, I also noticed that I could take out my speeder downstairs in a Medium house...lol
What's with that ?
Sounds like a few bugs are still out there.

same same, crafted a bunch of them, all were around 2.5k, two with 40k. Used the same ressources all the time, pretty weird it is.

It's a bug.
A few people have reported it, but no one knows how it happens.

Hover your mouse pointer over the bikes health bar when you have it targeted. You'll see current/max hitpoints displayed.

Noted, thanks.
Has anyone been able to determine when the 40k HAM vehicles are made? Any reproducability info?
BTW, although it make take a long time to need repairs, I expect that 40k HAM vehicle to cost a MINT to repair.
Good luck with that.
Take care,

Yep. All vehicles degrade at the same rate, so when they get around to repairing it eventually, it's going to use a lot of repairs. Won't cost anything more than for a normal vehicle, just all at once.

I need to craft a few swoops next time I am online, I would kill for a 40k swoop (although I am sure it will be nerfed back eventually - although they never fixed the 1500 HAM vehicles that were produced a few months back. Experimented to 94%, first time pulled they were 2300 HAM, next time, 1500 and have been that way ever since. No fix, no reimbursement.

Bingo..
i was thinking about this the other day.. all a Health amount of a vehicle does is determinate how long you can go without repairing..
i personally drive around with a low quality 1200 ham speeder bike because there is always a parking garage...
i actually have gone to a mount for inter city and inter mission travel.. (and the dewback mount is just kick ass).. i basically just use the speeder to get to long distance places and i use the mount to get around in the city or to go inbetween missions..
but beware... there is no pooper scooper behind my dewback to clean up Moenia Streets :-)
now if they would just fix the warping bug.. yesterday was warp city for me.. a really bad rubber band effect.. i would dismount.. warp forward about 50m.. then rubber band behind the bike about 100m. That or i forgot to take off the saftey harness..
