ok, I know that I have to get off my bike every time I want to go to a new survey spot, because I can't survey on my bike.

I also know that unlike vehicles, you can fire a weapon from a creature mount.

But, can I survey from the back of a creature mount ?

No, you can't survey while in a mounted state, vehicle or creature.

Here is the macro I use (stop your vehicle first):

/dismount;

/pause 1;

/survey;

/mount speeder;

/mount x34;

/mount (PetNameHere);

Parentheses are needed for the mount name. I keep all 3 /mount lines in there, just so I can use the same macro no matter what I choose to ride. I generally either follow the Resource Survey wp on my Onscreen wp monitor,and I leave the Survey tool window open,then Alt to it to check concentrations. Very slick solution that saves me time every day.

I've used a macro as listed above. Its a friggen life saver and almost makes surveying bearable Now SOE just need to fix the damn memory leak so I dont spawn 100m's from my bike now and then. ThatsVERY annoying when you spawn in the middle of a tusken lair with no weapon skills or have run after your bike the whole damn time when you survey. Not moving when you mount sometimes help tho.
