Grinding Survey XP, a year ago it was easy as cake. Now it's the biggest pain in the arse of all artisan.

Can't see anything bad about it. It's one of the easiest money-making skills anyways..

its alot slower, but with the right macro you can just survey all night come back in the morning and have most of it already done.

I'm not too familiar with the artisan profession at all, in fact I just took up the Novice skill last night. My question would be though.... if you make the survery macro, wouldn't the survey exp just cap after a while? I only ask because I know as a rifleman and marksman the rifle experience caps. ie. When I gained enough to experience to train in Rifle II but I never got someone to train me,eventually it gave me a "Rifle Weapons Experience is at its limit." or something along the lines of that message. So if I made the macro and let it go all night, wouldn't it only give me say... the exp it takes to get Surveying 1 and then a little bit into Surveying 2? So when I woke up, I would only have enough xp to take Surveying 1 and then a little Surveying 2? This is probably a really confusing post sorry i'm tired and in a rush lol I wanted to know this because i'm going to take up the Chef profession and i'm looking for efficient ways to grind through Artisan but I also want the Surveying Tree. Thanks for any answers people can give to my overly confusing post lol
Thanks,
Hesh

Surveying?
Explain since I'm a master artisan now. I know about mining BTW and am already a miner but I did not need a survey skill beyond novice to do that.

Hesh, you are correct. You will cap around midway so if you're macroing level I you'll max out in the middle of level II, work on level II and you'll max out around the middle of level III, and so on. But still, doing the go to bed, wake up with XP, go level up, repeat is better than wasting time sitting there doing it. It was an attempt to force you to sit at your PC and play longer in my opinion and so I have no qualms about doing it AFK macro style.
