Well, it looks like we get a new speeder to craft in the expansion. We can always use more vehicles
, and I'm guessing this might be seen in Episode III as well. It remains to be seen how it compares to the other vehicles, though I'm going to venture a first guess that it might be between the speederbike and swoop in speed.

And I bet if it's slower than a swoop, which it probably will be, after the first week of launch you will never see one again. What a waste. How about a speeder that can carry two people, now that would be innovative!!

I'd equip my guild with them if possible for the coolness factor :-P
Too many swoops and av-21s around

Id like it to be AS FAST as an av-21 im not bothered about it being any faster just carrying 2 people would be perfect for us as a guild swoop when we recruit new members considering we have no shuttle atm

It should be as fast as an AV-21 and climb hills. The swoop is a horrible hill climber.

The BARC speeder is an exclusive to the AllinOne Pack being offered on May 24th in Retail stores. If you run over to the Expansions forum you can see about it. Kinda sad, would have been nice to have a new craftable one.

All indications are that it will not be craftable, and as stated above only available to people who purchase the all-in-one box set retail. Furthermore, according to the boisterous outcry on the expansion forum, people who pre-order or just do the Digital Download will NOT be eligible for the BARC speeder. Hopefully SOE will see the folly in this and offer it as craftable. Most annoyingly, if this is all true at least, is that now n00bs will apparently get 2 vehicles when they start...the X-31 noobmobile and the new BARC speeder if they buy the retail boxed-set. A nice way to kill the Artisan market even more

If it's a freebee like the vehicle included with the pre-order of JTL, it will be slow and useless. How often do you see people fly those around anymore?

Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that the new speeder is only available by buying the box-set in stores, according to the HOC chat logs. It will, however, be tradeable, so if you want to get one it should be possible.
This brings up an interesting question... if it's tradeable, but only available to those who buy the boxed expansion in stores, will it be invulnerable so that it can't be blown up? Or will it be like the Flash Speeder (which I think would be hard, with it tradeable)? Or will it be able to be blown up, and therefore gone for good?
