Thread: Artisan Quick Fixes

Hey all,

I would like to submit a short list of 'quick fixes' to the Devs for them to think about while the CU and such are going on.

By quick, I mean fixes to little annoyances of the game that do not require large amounts of work or resources from the devs.

An example might be: Add vehicle stats to vehicle deeds

Please share some of your quick fix suggestions here and I'll carry them forward.

BTW, the 'All Purpose Ship Repair Kit' thing is already going to be fixed, so don't suggest it. Also, the Generic Tool not being craftable with the W/D/G tool is in discussion too, so don't suggest that either.

Would master artisans getting an extended survey range be an easy fix? Im not talking about planet wide. Just going from 320 to 500

No, unhappily. They are fairly resistant to this. Besides, the pedant in me points out that your request is a feature enhancement, not a fix.

I too would like to see this, and perhaps we can get it when they revamp us after the CU goes live.

When crafting droid batteries that you can see charges during experimentation or to change "experimental quality" to "charges" like the doctors have. Since this is what you are experimenting on. As far as I know batteries have nothing your experimenting besides the number of charges and not also how long they last for.

Let vehicle deeds look like vehicles, like how droid deeds now look like the droid.


I want a vehicle showroom in my shop lol.


Also, why can't we customize the vehicle colors upon vehicle creation? It would be nice to have a "signature" paint scheme for all the vehicles I sell.

Increase all the crate sizes. The code is already there for 50 unit crates (medical stuff), so it shouldn't be to hard to make that the default for all crate sizes. That would also alleviate some of the database strain

If it qualifies as a quick fix: Fix crafting and survey missions to scale with Artisan skills and not combat ability!

FIX 1: Speeder stats should be shown on deed


FIX 2: Speeders should show speed like ships


FIX 3: Give us back exp with gen tool...

Feature not fix in that case. And really to be honest I like the randomness. It forces you to try over and over again for the right combo. We have to leave something random to use. Otherwise all the melee powerups would be 16% max damage 32% mind and ranged would be min/max.

The quickest fix I see is changing Fireworks Packages to a viable "drag and drop" interface instead of the PAINFUL one that exists currently and takes over 20 minutes to load.


The BEST fix of current products would be changing powerups to a system that gives us some form of predictability. Say X resource for damage, Y resource for mind cost, etc.
