Thread: Harvester placement and maintenance tip

Currently the only feasable workaround toward placing and maintaining your harvesters is to group with higher level characters. The higher level characters do not need to follow you around the countryside to give you the level bonus to prevent you from dying they just need to be in the same group. The higher the level of the grouped combat person will drastically improve your chances to place and maintain your harvesters. I hope this will be of use.

I would like to add another tip:
Interface fast with a macro.
NOTE:[ ] Indicate text you should add, don't include the [ ]'s. * * are comments, edit them out if you Cut and Paste.
/setpermission admin [Name];* This is just to allow my alt access *
/paymaintenance 15200; * Maintenance for Heavy for a 7 Day run ..adjust for your own preference*
/addpower 12600; * Ditto, only power *
/nameStructure [Name]; * Love this. You can include color! *
/pause 2; * Just to give everything a chance to run *
/structurestatus; * Make certain everything is ready to roll *

Love this macro; however, is there a command to convert the harvester with a harvester conversion kit (i.e., the 3 month veteran reward) to put in place of the /addpower command?

Also note that with a recent patch, you can place structures while mounted for a quick getaway.

Gee, I wonder why.
290 accounts minimum gone from my friends list. I don't have high hopes for this fiasco.

Thanks for that info! Didn't know I could 'buzz the tower' to drop a harv =) will come in VERY handy!
Now, if you could just convince the Devs to let us survey while on a speeder.... =)

1) You will still have to come to a complete stop to place a harvester and you can't move while in the overhead view.
2) You have been able to survey while mounted for over a month now.

Keep an eye out for this combat upgrade thing that everyone is talking about.
