Ok I just got to level 2 Engineering and Surverying level 2 and I just got to be able to create a armor and clothing crafting tool! SO I thought cool i created one but when i try to use it to create armor the armor tab doesnt show up!!!! I tried this will a couple different ones and i even traded the same exact one with people fior them to try and it wrked for them!! Whats wrong here is it a glitch or what?? I tried to relog in to like 10 times!

You need engineering III to actually craft armor. Then it will show up in your crafting tool to craft
