Im standing in a house, next to a private weapon/droid crafting station and a clothing/armor crafting station. Im free to experiment on the armor that i make but none of the weapons. Ive got engineering 4 and domestic arts 4 as well. Think im bugged somehow?

You are using a weapon/droid crafting tool, right?

yeah, id use the applicable tool(weapon tool for dagger/cdef and armor/clothing for armor). I cant experiment on any weapons at all, tried relogging etc. =/

You need to be using the specialist tool AND be stood next to the appropriate crafting station AND have it targetted.

Experimentation comes up at the point that it would normally be deposited into the output hopper

Actually, the station doesn't have to be targetted.

I tested this tonight, and if I didn't have it targetted it wouldn't let me experiment.

I've had to target sometimes and other times i've been 6 yards away with my back turned untargetted and had experiment come up.

Actually, i think i found the answer. The weapon crafting station was placed on a weird spot in the house, and it wasent solid. That is , i could walk through the thing. So we moved it to a different location where its solid and were about to try it but the server crashed and havent been able to check it out yet.
