Ok, my char is a mon calamari, with an enormous brain. The problem is, I almost never find myself needing this extra brain power. Is this something that will change as I become a more advanced crafter? Is there an advantage in having a huge MPas a crafter? or should I start moving points elsewhere?

He does have a big brain, I can see it on your photo right there. You can migrate points if you want to. I haven't tried it yet myself, although I should. I could use more health, less action points. But I'm lazy.

Sorry, I didn't even answer your question. I'm easily sidetracked, even by myself. I am Master Artisan and find that I almost never deplete my mind pool when crafting, and when I sample my action disappears faster than my mind. The only time I deplete it is when I am using my special attacks on my rifle.

So your success at crafting is not affected by your stat points, just by your experience, correct?

Well, I can't give you a definite 'no' on this...but I am fairly sure that that is the correct answer based on what I've read in the forums.
