Thread: Why can't we see end result stats of powerups while experimenting?

I mainly do powerups because I have a good clientele. Thing that annoys me is that crafting powerups is like a lottery: you'll never know what you'll get until it's actualy created.

With all other items, even with food, you see the end result WHILE experimenting. So, if you don't like the end result, you can "practice" and start a new one.

Why don't we have that choice with powerups?

That's a good question which I've been wondering myself.

Here's a new twist: Why don't my manufactured items have any stats at all? When I handcraft a weapon powerup, depending on how well I do, the system changes it's letters gold and renames it something special and you can see its stats only when you're finished (it'd be nice to see what I'm affecting when I'm experimenting). But when you create a schematic of a weapon powerup, no stats are displayed in our out of its manufacturing crate. Our customers have no Idea what they're buying and I don't think that's very fair to them. Furthermore, if someone wanted to be a dork, they could craft the worst powerup in the world and still pass it off as a good one and sell a crate of them for an arm and a leg.

I think both these issues need to be addressed in the near future.

That's just my two credits worth, though. Thanks for listening to me rant!

Factories have some issues with several items. Powreups is one of them.

I think powerups you need to see what it is you are making. At least leet you experment on the random attributes.

I agree that it is silly that there is a random effect on the powerups. One would think that an artisan could choose which stats his powerups would effect. No, we just somehow randomly throw stuff togetther.

This is an issue that needs addressing. If the devs weren't so busy trying to beat down artisans and actually fixed the bugs in it it would be a lot more enjoyable. I've been considering shelving my weaponsmith a bit.All that sells for me as a novice weaponsmithare powerups and the occasional piece of bone armor or maybe a D18 if I'm lucky.
