What is resource change and how often dose it occure please?
New to mining so much thanks for any answers.

Its when the existingresources is replaced by new resources and new vein places. (Pain in the ass if youask me).
It happens every 5-8 days...
It would be much more "mining" alike if the resources got depleted after a 2-3 weeks, and you had to find new places. Like this its really hard to have a stable resource income, especially if you are not a powerplayer.
The old resourceswill never be duplicated again...say if a old resource named "xxxx" ever respawns with that "xxxx" name again, its stats will be different, perhaps by a small amount but still different.
So, any factory schematics produced from the old "xxxx" resource will not work with the new "xxxx" resource.
