When I go out to place my wind Gen. and my min harvesters I get either "can't build here" or "I can't build in mu current state". I am fully healed and standing and I am well outside the city what am I doing wrong?

I get this occasionally too. I find if I take off my armor I have no problems setting up.

I thought of that also but I am not wearing any armor. Just reg shirt and pants.

First, the 'current state' message is some type of bug where the computer thinks you're still moving. Just keep trying a couple more times and it will go away.

The 'you cannot build here' means you are too close to the town. There's no use arguing 'but i'm far from the town', you're still within the designated no-build zone. You have to get farther away. Last night I placed a house in Kor Vella and had to go forever before I found the build zone. That's just the way it is.

I just placed my first wind generator, and I noticed that if I tried to place on the edge of some valid territory in order to leave more room for others, I could not. I had to be a space hog and move it one square in.
