While we're on the subject of UXP, are there any numbers on how much we get and for what and how frequently? I'd like to maximize my UXP while running my "jump up and down in the middle of town while AFK" macro.

Afternoon,

I had the same thing happen to me the other day. I think that was the only time I got exp for something I made that someone else used, I've never seen a message or noticed a difference from all the crafting gear I've sold over the last few day. Let alone all the weapons I had made with my first character as well. I know I never got any exp for those, I was gone for 2 weeks and there was no change in my skill points, ( I still had to go and craft forever t seemed).

Like I said that was the only time I've gotten exp out of no where like that.

Does anyone know if UXP is completley working? I heard it only works if the person is near you when they use your good and if you're online (similar to how factory XP is bugged right now.)

I heard someone saying you get exp when people use your goods, but I'm not sure on it. That's funky. Anyone know why?

And for THIS reason I sell items for 1 credit

I have mentioned this before in a previous post on this forum. I rarely get UXP. I only get it when i am very close to the person using the item.

Example:

I made a pair of shorts for a dancer, i only XP while i was in the same cantina as she was. I walked away to make a business transaction and the xp stopped. I walk back in the cantina and the XP started up again, about 4 xp every 45 seconds on average. This is the ONLY time i have ever gotten any UXP. I don't know if this is the way it is supposed to wrk or if it is a bug.

It works, I got at least a thousand of my Eng4 exp from usage. I 'd be sitting aroung craft harvesters in town at the public station(Structure xp). And Every few minutes I'd take a look and have another 20 - 50 general crafting. I'm guessing it was so effective for me was because to get the last couple hundred of points for eng2 and eng3 I made Crafting tools, non generic and put them up on the bazaar for 100 creds. They almost all sold within a couple of hours(except Structure tools, didn't sell a **edit** one, don't bother making them). So I'd be sitting at the station and I guess there were a couple of people using my tools while I was sitting there crafting my own business.

As a side note I highly recommend making survey tools and crafting tools to get that last bit you need to put you over the top for a skill, decent xp, but more importantly you can throw them on the bazaar for 100 credits and they'll be gone within a day easy. You make out both ways.
