Ok, so I made a schematic for a ranged weapon powerup. The schematic just lists the default 'Muzzle' for the name. No stats listed anywhere. So I have a factory crank some out. The end result has as a name of 'Muzzle' with no stats listed. Just for kicks I added to my weapon, but I haven't seen any performance change in the weapon. Conclusion: powerups made by factories are broken.
My plan was to make a schematic with nice mods on it and then use a factory to crank out a mess of them. Save me the tedium of making them one at a time, which is exactly what a factory is supposed to do.

Yeah it is borken i believe and i think its a good thing. Keeps prices on weapon powerups high enough that the artisan newbs actually have something that is profitable and i hope it stays broken.

Unfortunately it won't...check <a href="http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/in_development.jsp?page=In%20Development"> this page </a> for details...
found under "factories":
Fixed powerups to work properly when manufactured from a schematic. This means that they should function correctly when built in factories.

Argh, either my HTML skills stink or it doesn't work that way in this forum...

Thanks. If I was thinking I would have checked that first.
I'm not likely to sell them. More interested in making them for my PA.
