Hey, I just tried to create some better crafting tools, and I'm unable to do so.

I have Dom arts at 2, and I'm a novice architect. I tried creating the new crafting tools near the generic crafting station, and it didn't allow be to experiment.... what am I doing wrong?

Hmmm if you are standing next to public/private weapons, droid, and generic item crafting station using the matching tool you should be able to experiment. if thats what you are doing it should work... if not I'd try to relog and try again... if no luck then /bug it. I personally havent had any problems with experimenting on stuff as long as i was using the proper tool standing next to the proper crafting station, but who knows dev coulda broke something while playing with the code... it happens..

Hi Drisdan - welcome to the game

If you would like to experiment while making an item you need to be near the appropriate crafing station (in this case a general crafting station). You can find them inside cities and in some peoples houses.

I read your post too fast and didn't notice that you were already by a crafting station.

Try what TheRogue suggested and ignore my idiocy.

There is no such thing as a public or private general crafting station. There IS a Weapon/Droid/General station though but to experiment and get the stations benefit you need to actually use the W/D/G kit. Hope this helps.

Remember, you cant experimentwhen using the "Generic crafting tool".
