Thread: Planetary Resources
Here's the situation, I need Extrusive Ore in order to continue grinding on droids but there is none on Corellia/Naritus. I've begun to search other planets for it, having heard in the Naritus forums that there was some on Rori. I get there and look at my survey tool and it's not on the list. So I go to a nearby town to see if that list is different. Nope. Then I hit Naboo and Tatooine before I head back to Corellia.
My question is, if I look at the resource list once I'm on a planet will that list be different in other places on that planet or should I then head to the next planet to search for it?
TIA,
Just an idea, but look in the bazaar and see if any is being sold and see what city and planet. If there is tons being sold, it is most likely on the planet the sales are on. But don't hold me to it being true science, I is just my theory on it. I find most people won't travel to other planets just to sale resources. ![]()
If I arrive on a planet, step off the ship, and do a mineral survey, if the resource I'm looking for does not show up on my survey tool's listing, it's NOT on the planet?
Example: I went to Tatooine looking for this Omninowi copper everyone's talking about. When I survey, that resource is not an available option. Does this mean it's not on the planet anymore?
Well, if the resources that aren't on the list might be in another area of the planet, then it wouldn't make much sense that you get the message "Resource not located" for some resources on the list, right?
I haven't extensively tested it, but the theory that resources not in the list are not on the planet is what makes the most logical sense.
If it isnt on your survey tools when yer pretty lil feet hit the ground, it doesn't exist on the planet.
Period.
End of discussion.
Nothing to add, no fuzzy math, no voodoo, no hippie grass.
