Ok, I have accepted two crafting missions, met the NPCs and have the parts but for the life of me can't figure out what I do to assemble them.

The missions sounds like they are assembling droid parts (Photoreceptor, improve a mouse droid)... Is that the problem? Do I need to be a Droid Engineer to accomplish these missions? (I'm a noviceweaponsmith)

I can't find any special schematics...

I had trouble with crafting missions at first too. You will need a General Crafting tool not one of the specialized ones. Open the tool up and look in where the chance cubes and dice are, can't remember if it says Misc. You'll see the schematics look like deeds. Just craft them up and deliver them. This is a great way to get credits and crafting XP.
