I was under the impression that if you remained neutral you would be able to trade and do business on both sides of the conflict. Yesterday I attempted to trade with rebels and imperials and was not allowed to trade with either getting the message about not being able to trade with opposing factions. Is this intended to force us to choose a side or is this a new bug. Thanks

This is a bug. I've come across it a couple of times, and I think you can get it to work if you wait a few minutes and try again. Or if you're both quick on the mouse clicking and trustworthy, you can put the item up on the bazaar, and have your customer tip you any amount above 3000 for the item's price.

Any chance there's some trading equivalent of a TEF, where if you're neutral and trade with an Imp, you're temporarily considered an Imp as far as trading is concerned, making it impossible to trade with a rebel for a few minutes? I think its a stupid idea, but maybe it's a leftover from some feature that got taken out, like having to have smuggler skills to trade with impunity.
