I just got the game the other day and I recieved Business III last night, I setup my vendor and place my items inside...

I can't withdraw an item and actually get it back? Are you joking me? Am I missing something???

Sure you can.
Click the "withdraw sale" button to make the item dump to the stockroom then click on the stockroom tab and you'll be able to retrieve the item.

I recommend reading Doc's guide to the Merchant Profession stickied on the merchant forums.
