Thread: Multi passenger Vehicles on Strike!
I need a wholesale swoop supplier.
At 1k each, I'd take 'em as fast as you can make 'em.

Seriously. Reselling at a 1000% to 2000% profit sounds pretty good to me.

and what exactly is your issue with the new multi passenger rules? It's not like it's gonna cut into your proffit any.
The rules are stupid and unnecessary. Not many people will buy the multi passenger vehicles now, and the rules also make the game less fun forthose who want them.
I figure at least one player on the server would be willing to spot 100K a day to buy swoops, assuming you made that many. 100 swoops is 800k+ of metal... quite a lot. I probably could average ( with decent placement ) 25k of resources per harvester per day, so it would take a mere 32 well-placed harvesters to supply you with the metal for your grinding.
I could probably raise 100k per day just running Bol missions for three or four hours with a grinding group on Dant, so your swoops wouldn't start appearing on my vendors until you'd given up on the venture or I'd run out of storage space.
Causing massive swoop price deflation is going to be *very* hard unless you can convince enough other master Artisans to join in your quest... and even then it's doubtful you could keep profiteers down.

I know. Makes me want to start a character there and get quick funding.
That's a better profit margin that I'm getting on Gorath.
lol it'd not be hard to get money.. I made a new char the other day, they start with like 50-75k now.. it's nuts.
And I'll be honest with you, since I re-opened my shop a month or so ago, I've yet to sell a mutli-passenger vehicle..so I'm not worried about it. But I did give one to my combat gal
My only complaint with them is that the biggest one holds 7 people, when max for groups is 8.

No one would be buying them as they'd be buying from me, also if I spot any excess puchases of swoops (indicating the intention of reselling), or any vendors reselling my swoops, they'll be banned!
While you are allowed to ban people from your establishment, SWG has a free-market economy, and thus there really is nothing wrong with reselling.

I'm still uncertain whether I'll bother, which is why I created this thread, to find out responses, my main intent is to sell to the public, and let them have cheap swoops, but if people are going to resell them, then I'll either have to ban them for buying any, or not bother selling it that cheaply at all. Or just shove them up on vendor and see what happens, will be intersting for a short period of time anyhow, plus I'm not going to put loads on vendors straight away, will only make as many until the general crafting xp caps, go and do some combat grinding with my CL 80 guildies (boy its slow being CL 5!), then off to village to exchange xp, then back to craft more swoops, then off to grind combat etc. So could get tiring/time consuming/long windedfor anyone trying to buy loads to resell, as vendor could be empty (from someone else reselling them who got to them first), and profits may not come in as fast as you like then people may give up trying to make a profit this way.
It also depends how bad those rules are, if they're not that restrictive after all, then may not bother anyway

I suppose that is one good thing, it will make people create chars on Valcyn, which happens to be the best server for stability, also the FS Village phases shift first on that server too, which also proves that Valcyn has had the less down time ![]()
I've been collecting metal all year! 800K pfft, thats peanuts compared to what I burnt at the village, during x2 week I sat there all evening on the last day grinding by practising on X34 Landspeeders, my inventory and backpack was full with metal so was no room to actually make any vehicles.

Hmmm... if you're going to sell swoops at 1K each, you'd better have quite a few resources. Entreprenurial players will buy up your stock and store 'em away, either to profiteer or to keep you from devaluing the swoop market.
