Giving mining bonuses with survey would be nice. Besides the fact that you can mine wood and steel out of the ground in this virtual world, some of the mining is realistic. Having a Mining profession would be different and cool, but that isn't going to happen. Turning the survey tree into a boost for mining is definitely a good idea.
