Clicky!

Thanks Warryyr!

How do I make a clicky on these forums? I tried HTML but that didn't work.

Cheers,
Gaxx

In order to make a clicky on the forums you do use the standard HTML format, but in order for it be recognized you have to edit the message as HTML. I normally just type the main part of my message and then only click the edit as HTML button once I'm ready to add my link and submit my post.

The Edit as HTML button is in the lower right-hand corner. Do not try to preview your message or switch back to the standard message editor after entering your link; doing so will mess up your link. Once you've added in your HTML code click the submit post button and viola! Your link is done.

And the devs made these rare because...? Why not make it available to MBH's, especially if it's going to be "teh suxor." I understand why Mando armor is rare, but why is it a huge quest to get a jetpack?

LOL, and what do you propose is done w/ the Jetpacks people who arent MBHs already have? They be deleted from their inventory? The person suddenly not becertified to usesomething they worked a long time to get? Sounds like BS to me buddy. BTW, how many of the BHs on the SD in TESB did you see w/ jetpacks? Thats right, 1. Boba Fett. If it were a 'common' BH item, more of them than just him would have had one, and the reason Boba and Jango had one is the same reason they have the Mandalorian armor: THEIR MANDALORIANS, not because their BHs.

Woof- don't start flaming. Here were my thoughts-

1) For some reason I assumed it was BH's collecting these things- I guess I just associated jetpacks with BH's. That's fine- let anyone use a jetpack, just like a swoop or a speeder. It sounds like the pack sux, so go ahead and put it out there for whomever. You're 100% right on that.

2) Granted, we have only seen 2 jetpacks in the movies- Boba's and Jango's. But they don't strike me as a particularly rare bit of technology. They're not artifacts like Mando armor nor complicated like lightsabers. It's a backpack with thrusters. That doesn't seem to me like something that should be uber-rare and uber-hard to collect and build. There are droids all over the movies with thrusters or repulsor systems- just put one on and backpack and integrate some manual controls. Why make them rare?

My 2 cents.

I've seen a couple of guys on Bria flying around with a jetpack. One was an Imperial in Theed, the other was a Rebel at the Science Outpost on Dathomir.

My server also has several. Usually hear them and see them buzzing around coronet. They are pretty neat. Seems like every one I have seen has been bugged appearance wise and is usually half covered up by whatever clothes the person was wearing. Still looks kinda neat though, although I think the engine fire looks a little lame.

So can you shoot a weapon while using a jetpack?
