Yeah. Best spawn I've ever seen was the Amiw Tat Avian on Chilly but Tat avian is a nightmare as the only things you can get it from is Nunas. At the same time we had the Sobredaauw Yavin avian, that was something like 920+DR, 980PE, 889OQ. Still using a bit of that and it's brilliant stuff.



I check all 3 stats on Avian, if any of them drops below 700 I don't bother with it.

what hurts is taking the time to harvest all that crap. On bloodfin, players want 100cr/per for avian meat. Thank goodness I have kind guildmates.

I am a MS MCH and I take orders for meat, hides and bones etc. I have between 3 and 5 players coming with me at all times hunting for these resources.


I just took a hunting party out of 3 people filling an order out for 10k herb meat. within 4 hours we had 21k just taking missions.


The biggest problem I have is finding the resource of good quality. We usually split up and each go to a different planet and search for resources of good quality. This narrows down the time it takes to find the resources, but it also cost us in shuttles to the planets plus the time to find the resource. This is not really that big of a problem, but it is time consuming.


So in our case if we had people that could sample when they are on a planet and then message me when they have found something of exceptional quality I would lower the price on the amount they wanted. In the time it takes me to find a resources we could have gathered say 5k to 10k of that resource if someone could lt me know they had found some.


So if this is something you Docs are interested in send me a tell and start looking!!!

Every server is differnt, and they shift just like all other resource.

Check the SWG Craft website often, they just got it back up yesterday. whee

resources are server-dependent, so you might want to either go to a website like the one mentioned above, or try your galaxy (trade) board

Another thing to think about. Since CM have terrain negotiation intheir support line, many of them do not have scout skill and cannot harvest (including Pip)

I have always felt that for the SWG economy to work, there has to needs for the services of other professions. I have found about three or four, (I think one has changed his profession on me) players that I have scour the galaxy and obtain these resources for me. I promise them that I will buy all they bring me for a set amount according to how good it is.


This keeps me in resources that I cannot harvest on my own, and provides income for them.


I have also found an artisan to relay to me waypoints to the better shifts. I tell them what I am looking for, they go survey the planet and send me waypoints to where the better concentrations of materials are. I pay them8K per resource that I send them. They make money and I make money and it keeps me in resources.


We can't do everything in the game, even though we want to, we have to make concessions and find people to help us where we can. This is what I have done and it works for me.

What and where are the best creatures to harvest Avian meat that average a 800 OQ and PE? I'm new to the doc prof. Is there a list anywhere on the internet that shows what to hunt and where?

Creature resources, just like regular resources, shift all the time. There is no one bird that drops good avian meat all the time...

Check www.swgcraft.com for resource stats.

On farstar at the moment the best avian meat is on talus, but probably not for much longer.

Someone was actually trying to sell it for 80 cpu, I mean honestly, if the stuff had shifted out I could see it going for that, but given how easy it is to obtain, how can you justify 80 credits a unit, regardless of it's quality.
