Heres my answer...Listen carefully...I said I was hunting Hidden daggers, and I am not using a macro. I don't think there is a spawn for these guys, just missions. I was also told that they are only being dropped when the camp has walls, believe it or not.

Apparently loot drops are borked right now across the board. I believe there is a fix up on TC. Hidden Daggers do indeed drop spinner blades as I have looted them myself. And FWIW I always double click the corpse and never have a problem fetching loot (including all the spinner blades I found).

a few weeks ago, the spinner blades were dropping as normal.
One of the hotfixes in the last few weeks messed up the spinner blade drops, so they haven't dropped for a bit.
The new patch out today is supposed to fix the loot drops, so it should be back to at least the level it was a few weeks ago, when you could double-click to loot. Who knows, maybe it is not fixed to the point where a looting macro will work on hidden daggers.
I also looted my only spinner blade a couple weeks ago from a hidden daggers mission that was basically a small base with the fence/walls, instead of the lair just being out in the open.

I've gotten them from both the walled base and the camps, however more dropped in the walled bases. I loot them by double clicking and was able to get them. This is all from a few weeks ago. Once I got the blades I needed I retrieved my sanity and stopped hunting them.

I too used double click and looted the 4 needed for a creature recycler. Took me a few days, but they will eventually drop.

I have hunted them on and off for the past 2 weeks, despite looting 6 in the past I have been unable to loot 1, in many many hours of killing hidden daggers

I sent a bug into customer service today. He said that it is still a bug and to look for a patch fix in the near future.
