i suppose i should say hello since ive never posted before, so hello.

i have just started playing this game, its been almost 5 weeks now and ive mastered artisan recently. ive been lucky in game to have people help me with resources andother stuff butnow im able to do things on my own. i have the resources and the money and i actually survey pretty well, folks pay me formy waypoints. now i want to become a master droid engineer. ive spent yesterday grinding through a pile of steel but i have heard there is a better way that involves using binary load lifters. i am not familiar with these and was wondering where i could get one - buy or make it ?

any help would be appreciated, thx

You really should post this in the Droid engineer forum

A droid is only as good as the modules in it. Otherwise it's just a neat thing that will walk along with you.

I know of nothing specifically that a BLL can perform better than any other droid loaded with the same modules.

The Binary Load Lifter Grind is a very difficult one, the reason that Master Artisan is absolutely required is that each ADV BLL droid Chassis (what the Exp really rolls in on) requires 6 crated advanced Droid Motive Systems. Each Adv Droid motive system requires a control unit from Master Artisan. So If you plan to go this route secure a ton of Duralloy and Duranium Steel and make sure to have a crapload of Factory crated Control Units for those ADV Droid Motive systems. You can start this process once you reach Droid Blueprints 4.

Oh and I would reccomend not grinding all of the chasis on Practice mode, once you hit master DE you can load them with barker modules and sell them to merchants. I've been doind very well selling BLL barker droids at 75-80k a pop.

well i was under the impression that this method involved help from a master artisan. im not asking what tier route to take or anything specific to droid engineering. i only want to know about binary load lifters.

ok thx people.

so elioi i would actually be building binary load lifters chassis' or whatever the plural form is, and not using a binary load lifter itself for anything? even if it is difficult, its better than clicking resources for hours straight.*but* if it is the same thing, then i guess its really not better. i can double click aswell as the best of them but it takes a toll on you.

The grind is so hard to do because you need subcomponents to pull it off... which involves a few factory runs, and just about every one of these subcomponents require Master Artisan Parts....

And you also need 2 different types of steel, and tons of em... but on the bright side, you get about 4k exp each.

Btw. if you are a DE you are more than welcome to come join us in the DE forums.
