hmmm... my incap timer does come up, it always shows a 0 count. none of my stats are below 0. i've even tried this out fighting womp rats. i just used FD right at the start of the fight with tons of health/action/mind left.

as the thread title says, this is probably a dumb question, but will I stand to lose a lot of modded DPS for my Proton Carbine if I drop Master Carbineer? thinking of adding something different but i'd hate to lose a lot of power from my favorite gun.

You will lose a fair bit but it will depend on how much general ranged speed you pick up in your new profession if any. Alternatively, look at speed or damage powerups to help counterbalance some of the loss.

There are also some fairly kick ass Quest weapons for other professions such as the Trandoshan Supressor Pistol for Master Pistoleer

They say that Jedi represent the best the Galaxy has to offer, they are smart, noble, wise, honourable and selfless, an example to us all. Jedi, they say, are like Eagles.
They also say that Bounty Hunters are dishonourable, cowardly killers with no respect for life or honour, who strike from ambush and exist only to kill. We are, they say, like Weasels.
Bounty Hunters are Weasels, Jedi are Eagles ? I can live with that, Eagles may soar but Weasels don't get sucked into Skyhopper jet intakes.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at MAYBE trying rifleman. I figure with my dual ranged arms and a good rifle will give me an effective range of 80 or so meters. Almost to tempting.

I haven't really looked at the skill tree but rifles are now an effective weapon for BH right? Prior to CU it wasn't.

What is the difference btween DBing some one and doing a triple incap?

I have never triple incapped, and I was just wondering.

Are you serious?

DB is like doing a coupe de grace on them (sorry, my French spelling suxxors). You walk up, you slit their throat or whatever... while they're helpless.

Triple incap just means that after incapping them three times in ten minutes, they're dead. Same result, a trip to the cloners.

So there nothing special about it?

I was wondering why people keep complaining about triple incappers.

well...with the inception of the CU and the horribly inane deathblow warmup there has been a large rise in unintentional deathblows. I know in most group PvP encounters there are at least one or two triple incaps just cause it's such a pain in the arse to DB them.

People probably complain just because it's frustrating to think that you're getting up... oh, then you're incapped again... then you wait... and wait... and oh, you're getting up this time! but NO, incapped again and straight to the cloners. Meanwhile you were sitting there on your back for the length of two incap timers.

that inane db warmup has gotten me killed a few times in PvP... very... annoying.
