Gotta agree with this one. Nobody's buying our vehicle customization kits these days. Heck, I'm not even bothering to use kits I produced myself because of the rate of decay. It's just not worth the effort.

well first off i said it even before that kits went life, since i got aweful exp from droid kits which are same useless.

its silly and rediculous to loose a color after 20 calls, maybe 2000 would fit more IF they so badly want it to fade.

state right now is, no one wants to bother coloring for 1 day, neither vehicle or droid.

to make the game fun and improve this features they need to make at least increase to 2000 calls, or even better let the color stick forever and just fade in brilliance (old vehicle) or let it stick always and ppl will change color from time to time for the fun factor.

to color it while crafting i dislike cause customer wont have that much of a choice then individual coloring with a kit is good

i make all this crap myself but dont use it at all, since the fading sucks more then much :/

PS: i wish some devs would play this game like a real player is doing (sure they dont got all that time to spend, but some should to be able to judge really on the state of this game (it can be with several easy changes way nicer, it has so much potential), and earn cash, do missions and all what this game offers, then they would see REAL inblances in combat, silly ideas, crafting problems etc.

Customer: what i can do with a droid? DE: hmm i dunno, but they are cute ask a Dev

Then you also think its realistic for the color of your clothes to fade in the game right? If you want realism then you must also want the stock color the bikes come with to fade also?

I think clothing should have wear and tear to it, not what it has now. I think that would be repeat shoppers to tailors, which would be good? I just don't think it should all happen in the span of a couple of days.

since this thread is alive again, i think vehicles should be able to hold up to 1000 customization kits. So you just buy a crate of them, and dump them into the vehicle, and it's colored the way you want it until all the kits run out. Right now, it only works 1 at a time, and every time you have to physically repaint it, which sucks.

ill tell you this much, i will NEVER buy a kit so long as they work like they do now, but if they worked as i described above, i would buy hundreds of crates of them (and would perpetually buy them as they ran out as well)

the same system should be put into place for clothes and furniture.

Nerdcore if it worked like you wanted them we will get a bunch of annoyed people. Most people have no interest in re coloring their furniture and vehicles. It should be permanent until you change it. That is the only way that won't be seen as just another thing to waste people's time.

Maybe they can make it so only image designers can use the kits, in Body Shop Tents.

Seriously though, I used a vehicle customization kit 1 time, and it faded thesame day. I couldn't believe it, and decided to never use one again.

no, it wouldnt be a waste of time. if it were permanent, then hardly anyone would ever craft the coloring kits after the initial release. meaning, it would be just as useless as it is now, only we can select colors.

considering it takes like 1-2 weeks for a kit to wear out, if they could hold 1000 kits, then they could be colored for decades. it might have to be a bit less, maybe like 10 to 25 kits, but you can recharge it at any point.

that way people wouldnt have to recolor the bikes every week, and there would be a renewable source of sales for the kits.
