Umm this isnt really to do with the bug.. but what the heck drops this stuff.. i have yet to loot a single part/schem for these things. Im not a big fan of looting.. id much rather go kill critters but with the parts for these things in the 1-2 mill range to complete one would be like 4-5 mill.. Just to make my life easier thats a bit much.. i could higher a ranger to get me all the generic hides i need.. I just want to make one for the workshop and the fun/cool factor..

can anyone point me in the right direction?

if I remember correctly, the last "official" word was that recycler crafting is "fixed"...

strictly speaking, this is true --- you can craft a recycler without any problems if you already have all the sub-components for it.

I recently had a problem trying to craft an agitator motor to put in a tumbler blender to make an ore grinder -- hit the "no owner" error, and got stuck in the middle of crafting. filed an "I'm stuck - performing an action" ticket, but the only response I got on that (from a CSR that took the time to log into the game to talk to me) was that the "I'm stuck" category is only to be used when your character is physically stuck and unable to move (and then the ticket was closed).

refiled the ticket under "missing item", and left it. in the meantime, I had been searching (and found) the command-line workaround and completed the agitator motor. I added a comment to the ticket, advising that I no longer needed the replacement parts (no thanks to the unhelpful CSR) and left it at that. to my surprise, the response that finally came through was something like "happy to hear you got it fixed - here's a set of the bits for the motor anyway, just delete them if you don't need them".

a few days later, I tried to craft the tumbler blender -- same error. but this time, using the command lines to finish the crafting didn't work -- the tool counted down, but no item. so, I opened a new ticket for this (using the Missing Item category -- see, I did learn something from the experience ) -- was rather disappointed to receive a reply to the effect that the lost parts for this item would not be replaced because I'd already been given parts for an agitator motor (which I'd told them I didn't need but they gave me anyways) and that I should wait for an announcement that recycler crafting has been fixed before I try to make any more...

anyways... now that I've finished sharing my tale of woe.... is there any indication that we might be getting a fix for the recycler sub-component crafting problem anytime soon? luckily, I'd held on to the agitator components and schematic (giving me a partial replacement for the lost tumbler blender parts), and even though I could use the ore grinder, I'm reluctant to waste another set of parts trying to get it crafted

thanks

the command lines are further up in this thread

---------------------------------

Craft the item normally. Upon activating the assemble button you recieve the error message: INTERNAL SERVER ERROR: No player owner. Click ok, the assembly window should remain open. Go down to your chat bar, type the following: /nextCraftingStage hit enter, hit ctrl-up to bring it back up, or type it in again. Repeat the process until the command has been entered a total of 3 times. Now type in the following: /createPrototype and hit enter.

What should happen now is that the crafting tool kicks in with an item crafting time of around 194 seconds. At the end of the cycle time you should recieve a finished part. You may close the ingredient entry window now, schematic access will be revoked.
------------------------

I just tried the command line work around, it did not work for me..

I did however get all my parts back and the agitator schematic was NOT revoked whenI typed /createPrototpye and hit enter.

I instead got a message that crafting session had ended, all my parts reappeared in my inventory, and i still have use of the Agitator motor listed in crafting tool menu.

Last time I tried crafting an agitator on TC it had an error, using the workaround only threw back my items into my inventory and I kept the schematic. Still bugged, but at least it didnt take my stuff or my schematic.

I've been hunting down the parts for the Chemical and Metal Recyclers for a few days, and I finally got all the parts. Here's how itwent for me.

I was able to craft the Metal Recycler with no problems. It revoked my schematic. I'm assuming this is normal.

When I tried to craft the Agitator Motor, I got the error message. I tried the workaround, but it didn't work. I got my items back.

Yes, the metal recycler schem only allows you to make one metal recycler.. and that's it... that is normal...

With the agitator motor, you said you got the error, and tried the workaround... but you said you got your items back... do you mean that the agitator motor schem wasn't revoked, and you kept your items when you got the error, or did you contact a CSR to get your items back?

I kept my Agitator Motor schematic and the items without CSR intervention.

ok...i am sure you are working on it but are they. you have confirmed that they acknowledge that they are BUGGED AGAIN, but have they said they are working on the fix or just saying, " yeah we know it is a problem" .

I don't have an ETA on a fix. That's the best I can offer at this time. I'll ask again.

Guru i noticed that they fixed the agitator motor bug on TC-Bria. I was able to craft the motor but the tumble blender is still bugged. I tried the walkaround and no go, so they fixed part of it but make sure they are aware thatthe overall process is still broken.
