Try to contact inGame a CSR. He can contact the player even he/she is on a different server. Maybe the CSR can remove the vendor.

Well if you want more defense, less offensive, go pistoleer. They are good in pve cuz they have differant damage types, and of course a nice stun weapon. and nice state defenses as well as ranged mit3, and dodge is very nice. Carbineer. it took me a long time to learn how to adjust to certain pvp/pve situations. There are a time to use a certain weapon, fast laser carb actionshot1,2, suppressionfire2, for melee stackers witha high range mod of course. Speed and accuracy is key. or get a high min fast dxr6carbine, the acid carb will chew through psg and armor faster at times with high armored psg combatants. I find carbineer a class that requires a lot of time and patience. And you will fight very hard for those times you win against other opponents. but when you know how to use your specials and plan your attacks, burstrun, kite, switch to the apporpriet weapons. dizzy, posture down, crippleshot, lol rinse repeat. posture change classes have left defense against that. carbine specials are very nice when properly used. my final word. depends on your playstyle.

I'm a Bounty Hunter, and I'm trying to understand why people use carbines, and hopefully get a good enough reason to use them. Because right now, I'm sitting here thinking "Why am I putting points in to carbineer?"

The damage output seems low, and states don't really matter in the kind of PvE I do... and it just seems like pistols would be so much better for PvP and PvE. Am I right? Help!!

Most people use Carbines with Bounty Hunter because, once you hit the speed cap with carbines, you will either kill or almost kill just about everyone you fight (minus Jedi, since they block well over 50% of your attacks). I use it because of the ability to apply states like no other, unlike Pistols which can only apply blind and stun. You would need to KD someone in order for Pistols to show their true form, but to do that you would either need a melee profession or Carbineer.

I just like Carbineer because......I dunno, it's something that not everyone uses, and not everyone expects

Brasner, what sort of PVE do you do? I mainly hunt mid-high level stuff like rancors, grauls, jantas, mokks, etcetera, and states and knockdowns are insanely effective with them. Me and a TKA in training friend of mine wiped out the mutant rancor cave on Dathomir the other day in about ten minutes, while it was full. I managed to drop the Ancient Bull Rancor there in 4-5 seconds once the knockdown stuck. In the really high level stuff, like dark jedi masters and the more dangerous dungeons, sure, states wont work, and our damage will be highly resistant, but still, in mid-high level stuff will be no problem.

Definatly the ability to dizzy/kd someone at range is bar-none Carbineers spotlight, especially w/BH.

I'm new to the forums so if I have this post in the wrong place please help. I was wondering if I should be a master fencer vs. being a master swordsman before going to the village. i notice that you don't get any skill mods that add to two-handed abilities. like + to two-handed accuracy or speed. I'm half way to master swordsman but don't want to be a weak lightsaber'er if I don't have the max amount of one handed melee skills.

My basic question is should I go master fencer before heading to the village? if i'm in the wrong area to ask this question, i'm sorry.

It doesn't matter whether you are a swordsman or fencer, because neither skills help you with a lightsaber. The lightsaber uses its own set of modifiers so play what you want for now.

I would say so yes. The only skills you can get that help with lightsaber combatare the Combat Prowess Force Sensitive skills Melee Speed and Melee Accuracy. Of course I am not 100% sure on that either...

Can you please help me, ive got a bit of trouble, my mate lent me star wars galaxies to install because he didn't play it no more, and he was going to sell it,so i installed it, registered my account(3 month free trial), then gave it him back, And i went to school today , i got home and my mum had uninstalled it by accident, but id saved a shortcut on the desktop, so i clicked the shortcut, logged in, it started updating and then stopped and said ''critical files missing, please insert the star wars galaxies disc and reinstall the files needed''(thats when i found out my mum had deleted it by accident), and my friend has sold the game now, so i was wondering if you guys could help somehow, ETC send me the files or something, please reply because i really want to play.
