So this is by hearsay...show us a post by the devs that says afk-grinding is abannable offense. Ive never seen one and never heard of anyone getting in trouble for doing it.

I have heard that devs changed the loot in the borgle cave to melons when they got reports of AFK`ers there though

Yes, I know it is sad. I do however only got 1 lvl 4 box left to get and I thought that I might try to macro the last way (and perhaps get some MUCH wanted bh attention as well). I know that I could probably do the last box during a couple of days if I like but I thought that I might try it....IF it is legal...

My God man, you sitting there showing the EXACT REASON this should not be done....See, you new guys are killing us and you dont even know it... (I could do the box in a couple days BUT) -- If I run a macro on the Ryatt trails I can get it is a few hours etc.. And so you have answered the question yourself.

I guess in a way I can only thank you for being honest and showing people why or how this all went wrong for our class.

At least I can happy in knowing that the class at one time... did not have to do this and were scared to even log in...

See man no offense but your a example of where SOE went wrong on telling people what Jedi should be doing.... I just dont get it.

erm, new guys are killing us? What about FC, what about the possibility to regen force before shuttling (dont have eacxt name for it, but any one on farstar know what im talking about and knows the playere that got banned for it, was a bug/exploit 4-5 months ago).

Dont put yourself on the high horse. Exploiters HAVE always been there and WILL always be there.

i have a macro i use to stay in game, i also have seen AFK grinding macros used, but as far as I know there is nothing wrong with it(after all, you are afk, and not able to properly defend yourself. My personal view is that if you do this, then you are asking for trouble(from BH's, dieing pre-maturly and cloning, etc.).

I dont' see a problem with it though, if you do it, expect to get ganked by BH's

I still think it is sad as to how many peopleare ignorant of this clause in the EULA

forgot the original, jedi xp by crafting crystals and force healing. huge afk xp by some of the earliest jedi. no, jedi has not turned down this path recently. there always have been2 paths to jedi knight (or 4444 guardian before.)

anyone that took the long path certainly can understand the reasoning for those that take the short. it is true of any class. my friend grinded master weaponsmith on barrels, was mind-numbing i am sure. i was able to grind on warheads, MUCH easier. BH can get investigation xp by blowing bases, and have shuttles/bikes. using these tools is not sad, it is smart. just like using the respec is smart.

i have no idea if the afk macros are legit or not, that is the only question in my mind though.

Lol, please repost this when jedi are no longer able to setup a macro buff that harnesses 1-2 lines in defender and healer ONLY to leave them at full health all the time. Its true a gank squad will stop one of these fast, but there have been so many reports already in the BH forums of people plugging away for 10-15 minutes and eventually giving up because their action pool was completely shot, while the jedi was unscathed.
