I would just be happy if we could fish off of our speeders. Then it would be more like a boat. But I would like a bopat for fishing anyway since a speeder is so loud.
Also what happened to allowing us to customize vehicles more? I remeber they said we would eventually get to do that back when they first came out. Are they just too involved in the jedi thing these days to do anything else?
I still want that rickshaw from AoTC most of all though. That would be awesome.

It would be nicely nastalgic, but with swoops that skim over the top, and water is not problem for them, and with nothing to hunt in the water (I did not say nothing to fish), then boats would be nice but almost pointless. I guess you could put a little motor on the back and go trolling for more fish, now that might be nice, but at this point it really has no real purpose other than it is used in the out-of-doors.

A nice idea, but one which belongs to a bygone era. Post CU, it will take a group of Rangers working together to handle anything bigger than a striped fish.
Points for tryin', though.

Given the gnarly, grumpy ranger that a few players enjoy RP'ing, and our propensity for long, complicated storytelling (see the campfire tales thing up in the stickies), yup, fishermen and women would be ideal.
Stood there on the beach, mending nets, patching up small buoys, stirring foul buckets of chum bait and jawing about the One That Got Away.
Cybernetics could come in to this too... aharr, it were a bluefish, the size of a rancor, leaped out of the water onto the deck, I was just about to smack it with me gaffi stick when the stinkin' pile of blubber turned and was off with me arm, ahaarr. Still, me MID alt was able to fix me up with a new metal one as fast as you like while singing me a few traditional sea shanties and doing the old hornpipe, ahaaar.
What d'ye think, does me arm match me legs? I'm going for the full set
oh, ahaaar.

Look as long as Owen doesn't try to get us to go on one of those Shauput Cruises, I am all for boats.
