I'm sure this has been asked a billion times and I'm probably an idiot for just asking. But the quests in the phases, do you need the Force XP to train the novice boxes just to start them? Also do you need the Force XP to do the quests or can you unlock the boxes then grind the xp and get training?

I have a question. I'm a master BH and Pistoleer and I just started playing again after a few months break. What moves are the best for pistol right now? Fan shot, eye shot and torso shot? Thanks in advance for helping a n00b

Eyeshot but don't go after a jedi with a payout more than 150k unless you have some melee abilities,

I know this a nooby question... but im new, im not just trying to get jedi and thats actually why im posting this question.
When your character finally reaches FS does that character turn into the padowan, or does another character slot open up??
I only ask becuase i really like the character im playing, Rifleman/Engineerand if one day i open up FS on that character, I would much rather have another character slot so i can work my jedi character from the ground up.... as opposed to losing all my hard earned skills on my Rifleman/Engineer as i climb the jedi tree.
So question being, when your character does go FS, Do you have the option of starting a new character with FS skills, or do you have to lose all your hard earned work on your main?
Thanks everyone.

Hi,
With the new system for jedi your main char is your jedi, so your gonna lose your template as you level your jedi.
the old system pre patch 10 I think opened another toon for you to play.

Well i have to say that is really lame, and really sucks LOL
So now becuase i like what i am doing, if i even want to pursue the jedi path i have to fork out another 30.00 for another copy of SWG, and than another 15.00 a month just to be able to pursue the jedi.... Becuase in short i want to do both, i like my character i want to become a crafter, but yet i also want to experiance the harsh road of the jedi eventually.
Starting to find out more and more negatives about this game.
Gosh i remember the good old days before companies just soley did everything for the money, in Ultima Online you were allowed 5 charachter slots per server you played on.
Guess all of that is over.
Thanks for the repli =D

no you get 2 characters just your first character is jedi and your second is whatever you want so you don't need a second account you have 2 on the same one

Erhh?? you can both be a crafter and a jedi with one account - no need to buy another. If you want 3 chars then you have to buy a seconde account - and that has nothing to do with you main beeing jedi. (I also think your secionde slot should have been your jedi - im with you there - but nothing to do about it now)
However - If you think that grinding your seconde char up to be what your main char is now is hard - jedi is not for you im afraid...
My seconde slot - is just as my old main used to be - just a diffrent name...same skills

Oh sweet thanks guys... next time i wont jump to conclusions so fast heh, Well thats ok than, i woudlnt mind working up a new character to what my main is right now, once my main gets the oppurtunity for jedi.
Ya it sorta seems backwords that they would do it that way, but it sorta makes sense also as the main unlocking the power of the jedi so he should be the jedi.
Anyhow thanks a bunch.

Hey welcome to SWG! Another idea would be for you to create another charater on another server and pursue jedi on that server. I was bebating on making a crafting character on another server to explore that end of the game. Since I have another slot on Tempest I may just do it on Tempest when I finish my template. Good luck.
