Good news, friends.
I have it on good authority that the All Purpose Ship Repair Kit was not intended to be on the Misc tab (thus locking it into the Generic tool). It will be moved to the Starship Crafting Tool soon. No, I don't know when, but I know it is a priority.
I'm still working to get the Generic tool moved such that it can be crafted with the W/D/G tool. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.

Ya I've filed a CSR ticket thinking I was bugged or something. Good (and bad) to know that this isn't working for anyone.
About the steel - some of the new JTL steel has excellent conductivity. Some stuff just spawned on Kauri that's 870s oq and 930s cd

So far, they seem to sell okay, assuming you want to put in the tima to knock these out by hand

Use em when you go LD and die in space and wake up with your ship at 0%
found this the hard way.

any word on when this is getting fixed?
No, not yet. I asked for that info, but I haven't received it yet.
For all I know, it'll drop in a hot fix tomorrow morning. Keep your eye on Test Center patch notes too.

Yesterday's update notes
They're moving the all-purpose repair tool to the ship crafting tool
On test center now, I'm assuming we'll see it at the latest next tuesday.

Indeed.
Did you notice that droid batteries last longer too. Very cool.
There's even more cool stuff coming. It's impressive how many fixes they are getting out now that JTL has shipped.
Yay!

eheheheheeeeee
Okay, I know what you mean, BUT that does sound like they are JTL-induced bugs.

It's on live now but has anyone notice that the Experimentation points for this are those derived from the Shipwright Profession? I fired up my Shipwright Tool and got only 2 points of experimentation while standing at the Shipwright Public Station ....hmmmm... hold on... does anyone know if standing at the W/D/G will make a difference and allow for those Exp points from Artisan to take effect? Been too busy in space to try much out...
