Fireworks are far from useless. On Scylla we held a party to celebrate the opening of a player run cantina near Mos Espa. We set off hundreds of fireworks (2 shows for over 2000 total explosiions, wheee) and it was an AMAZING sight. Get a few friends together, make a few hundred fireworks and set them off together, it is a psectacular sight.

umm.. try giving them away... make friends who will buy accual items from you when the time comes
