It's right there, at the very top of the artisan tree under 'Master Artisan'. Doesn't say what it's used for though, although it looks great in my living room (not).

I think it's a clever in-game name for a Faraday cage, which are required in some schematics.

A CH friend of mine explained to me that the Nemodian Bird Cage is used by Creature Handlers to improve their taming chances.

Sorry you are all wrong. It is a pre-requisite to unlock the FS slot. You must build 200 of them and surround yourself with them inside a large Naboo style house. You must not be wearing any clothes while you are doing this. then you must spam (/yell) "I am a Jedi" 800 times in a row WITHOUT stopping.

You frogot, in the one infront of you there must be a mellion from when you are a newbie, just 1! you had to keep it on you ALL The time, never EVER putting it in the bank or another container!

I actualy do know what the cage is for.

I have been a master artisan since week one. I have made several of them.

I honestly have not know what they do until todays patch. but all is clear now.

These cages are here to take up a space in the 50 items we are allowed. by placing one you waste space that could be used for something that is useful. In fact, now that I think about it. it is the same as all other furniture. Today I destroyed everything in my house. I am getting rid of my vendor and dropping merchant. My house will no longer be public because it is embarrassing to show anyone. I am unable to have anything nice or deco. Because i am a crafter.
